8.9K Run

Today I ran 8.9K in 1hour and 14mins with the running group.  A little slower then I would have liked but the sidewalks are still snow covered.  This is the route we took:
west King
north Clarence
X diagonally thru Victoria Park
north Wellington
east Pall Mall
north Waterloo
west Grosvenor
north St George
west Huron
north Sunset
west The Parkway
west Sherwood
east Victoria
south St George
east Oxford
south Richmond
south Clarence @ Victoria Park
east King
I am pretty proud of myself for dragging myself out of bed as it was -15 degrees with the windchill.  It ended up being a much better run then Thursday night.
Since Runtastic isn't allowing me to upload my runs from my Garmin anymore, I have to find another program to use.  I notice a lot of you use Daily Mile.  Can you upload your runs from your Garmin easily?
This is what my schedule looks like for this week:
Monday: Cross Train
Tuesday: 6K Run
Wednesday: Rest Day
Thursday: 8K Run with the Running Group
Friday: Rest Day
Saturday: 5K Run
Sunday: 10K with the Running Group

4.12K Run

Today I ran 4.12K in 35mins.  I was suppose to run with the running group this morning but it was -16 degrees with the windchill at 8:30am this morning, so I went back to bed.  I ended up running around 1pm when it was only a -5.  Much better.  Runtastic has changed their website so I can`t upload my run.  Hopefully Steven will be able to figure something out when he gets home.

5K Run #2

Tonight I ran 5K in 48mins.  Wish it was a little faster but I am still breaking in my new shoes.  I hate breaking in new shoes!  Any secrets?  My time is not showing in my Runtastic as my Garmin took about 10mins to find a satellite and I did not want to wait.  I missed my run yesterday which I am a bit disappointed in myself about but it has been a rough couple weeks at work lately.  Hopefully next week will be better.

18K Run

Today I ran 18K in 2hours and 56mins with the running group.  Not too bad as this was my longest run yet.  I might have stopped at the Splash Pad at Gibbons Park on the second half of my run.  I noticed my knees and ankles were a bit sore during my run.  Maybe it is time for a new pair of shoes?  When should you by new shoes?  When I got home I have a bath in cold water to help my knees and ankles recoup.  This seemed to help, but my husband thought I was nuts when I ask him to draw me a cold bath.  My distance and and time is not uploaded on Runtastic as my Garmin was having difficulty finding a satellite for the first 10mins.  Also check out the giveaway for Zensah Compression Leg Sleeves at Running Somewhere http://runningtosomewhere.blogspot.com/2011/08/zensah-review-and-100-follower-giveaway.html!

3K Run

Today I ran 3K in 28mins.  I an having difficulty uploading the run to Runtastic, but I hoping to figure that out soon!  It was a very humid run today.  Hopefully it rains overnight to break the humidity as I have a 16K run scheduled tomorrow morning.  Ekkk!  Today I finally registered for the Springbank 1/2 Marathon on September 11.

Also, head over to Rachel in Real Life http://rachelreallife.blogspot.com/2011/08/active-bands-review-giveaway.html as she has a giveaway going on for Active Bands!
