6.26K Run

Tonight I ran 6.26K with the running group in 52mins.  It poured rain for the first 1/2 of the run.  This weekend is Rock the Park at Harris Park, so we were able to run by the first performance of the weekend.
This is the route we took:
S-Bike Path Gibbons
S-Bike Path Harris
W-King St Bridge
W-Bike Path
W-Riverview
W-Evergreen

I had a bad day at work today so after my run my hubby and I went to Yo Yo Yogurt Cafe.  I had never been before but now I think it will be hard not to go all the time.  It was delicious!

4K Run #3

Tonight I ran 4K in 36mins.  Faster then my last 4K run.  It is getting colder out and I need to look into getting a winter running wardrobe.  I have my long sleeve shirt I got from the Springbank 1/2 Marathon, but nothing else for the colder weather.  I went to Walmart tonight a bought another long sleeve running shirt and a pair of yoga pants.  I am pretty short so I need to be able to hem the pants I buy.  I know I can hem the yoga pants fine, so I went with those instead of a more "technical" material.  Earlier this year I made a pair of yoga pants into a pair of running capris and they have been working out well!  Any suggestions of what I should be wearing heading into the winter months?  Living in London, Ontario Canada can get pretty chilly and if it is anything like last winter, pretty snowy!

3.1K Run

All day I was worried I was going to have to run in the rain today but luckily the rain stopped when I finished work.  I ran 3.1K in 31mins.  I would have ran a bit faster but I stopped to take a quick picture of baby Canada Geese, but my camera on my Blackberry would not work!  So that slowed me down longer then expected!  I need to get a long sleeve shirt to wear in the rain. I have been looking around but all the wicking shirts are so expensive.  I have seen an Under Amour one that I may get a SportChek but I do not have the money right now.  Does anyone have any suggestions of a reasonably priced long sleeve shirt I could buy to wear in the rain? I am also thinking about signing up for the Barking Frog Summer Night 5K run, here in London, on July 15th.  Oh, update on my heart burn.  The doctor gave me a sample of Nexium to try which I did yesterday and I have not had any issues today!
