8.21K Pack Run

Yesterday I went for a 8.21K run with the running group.  My time was 1hour and 9mins, which I am pretty happy with.  After the run I bought this ornament.

And joined the group for a hot chocolate at a looking coffee shop.
I headed home to wake up my hubby and we set off for Owen Sound to visit our family for Christmas.  Here are a couple pictures from our decorated house.

And I received this from Santa, aka my hubby!

7.41K Run

Tonight I ran 7.41K in 1hour and 8mins.  I wish it was a little faster, but I was having some stomach problems during my run tonight. :(  I hope everyone is ready for Christmas.  At work we have been visiting clients the last couple days, so that has made my days more exciting.  Tonight I hope to get some cookies decorated to give out to my coworkers.

Cross Train #7

Today I did 2miles on the elliptical.  It was just a short cross training session as I needed to go grocery shopping and still make it home in time to watch Anderson Cooper.  I think I finished Christmas shopping today, but I still have to go out to Walmart yet again tonight as the grocery store did not have the Christmas cookies I wanted to get my associates.

11.43K Run

Today I ran 11.43K in 1hour and 38mins.  I am pretty happy with this time.  It was a nice day for a run.  The bike paths were clear for the most part and I saw a number of runners out.  I got some Christmas shopping done and took Riley (our dog) to see Santa, all before my run!

9.11K Pack Run

Today I ran 9.11K with the Saturday morning pack run.  Not many showed up this morning.  I think the combination of close to Christmas and the fresh snow on the ground kept people away.  I am pretty happy with my time as it is faster then my last 9K run.  I have my work's Christmas party tonight and I am not sure it I am going to brave the mall today or wait until tomorrow...
Last night I finished reading Alice Bliss by Laura Harrington.  Apparently I am on a streak of only reading books with Alice in the title.  It is a very good book and would highly recommend it if you want to have a good cry.
