11.89K Run and Garlic Mac and Cheese Recipe

Today I ran 11.89K in 1hour and 42mins.  I didn't head out until 11am so I was running in the heat.  After my run we headed to Runners' Choice to take part in the Dirty Sneaker event where you trade in old shoes for money off new ones.

I bought another pair of Sauconys and Steven bought a pair of Nikes.
Last night I made Garlic Mac and Cheese.  Here is the recipe:
Ingredients:
1/2 teaspoon of garlic paste
1 and 1/2 cups of elbow noodles
3 tablespoons of butter
3 cups of milk
1/4 teaspoon of dried parsley
1 cup of white cheddar shredded cheese
4 oz of of garlic and herb boursin divided
salt and pepper

Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
Bring large pot of water to a boil
Cook pasta
Drain in colander
Return to pot and set aside
In a medium saucepan, melt the better over high heat
Whisk in the flour and the garlic paste and cook, stirring constantly until golden
Whisk in the milk and dried parsley
Cook, stirring occasionally, until the sauce comes to a low boil and thickens noticeably
Remove from heat and stir in cheddar cheese and about 3 oz of boursin.  Whisk until the cheese is completely melted
Season with salt and pepper to taste
Pour sauce over drained based and toss to coat well
Transfer to a lightly greased baking dish and top with the remaining boursin
Bake for 15-20mins or until the top is browned and the cheese is bubbling
Let cool for 5-10mins before serving
