Crest Pro-Health Product Review

Crest Pro-Health Product Review
Crest Pro-Health
Week 1 Review
I have been using the Crest Pro-Health PROFRESH Toothpaste, Oral-B CrossAction Pro-Health Toothbrush and Crest Pro-Health Multi-Protection Rinse for around 1 week now.  I have to say that overall I am enjoying using the Crest Pro-Health products sent to me for the BzzCampaign.  Even thought I do not typically like strong flavoured toothpaste, I do enjoy the freshness of the PROFRESH formula.  I usually use the Crest Pro-Health Gum Protection variety of toothpaste.  I am also enjoying using the Pro-Health Rinse and find it not too strong.  I do find that the Oral-B toothbrush is too large for my mouth and am unsure how I feel about the "non-bristle" pieces on the brush.
Disclosure:  As a BzzAgent, I received a free product sample of  Crest Pro-Health PROFRESH Toothpaste, Oral-B CrossAction Pro-Health Toothbrush and Crest Pro-Health Multi-Protection Rinse in exchange for my review of the products and my opinion.

Going Long Book Review

Going Long: Legends, Oddballs, Comebacks & Adventures

Going Long is a collection of the best Stores from Runners World.  Overall I enjoyed the book.  There were a few articles that I had felt I already knew the store, i.e. an article on the Hoyts and Matt Long.  There were a few that I found a little dry and did skip, but as I said, over all a good read.  I downloaded it on my Kobo as I could not find the book in the library or Chapters.

5.29K and 16.11K Runs

On Saturday July 20th I ran 2.29K in 42mins.  On Sunday July 21st I ran 16.11K in 2hours and 12mins with the running group.  I had to bump up my 16K run a week as we were travelling to Ottawa the following weekend.

Barking Frog Summer Night 5K Recap!

On Friday July 19th I ran the Barking Frog Summer Night 5K for the third time!  It was still pretty hot, but I was able to shave 9seconds off my time for a time of 36:22.  It is a hilly course on the way back, so you really need to save your energy for the second half.

4.82K Run

Last Thursday, July 18th I ran 4.82K in 36mins with the running group.  I did not run at all during the week as it was way too hot!  We ran the route of the Barking Frog 5K as a practice for the upcoming race.  This was the route we took:
To start the run we are heading North on the Bike path to the race turnaround point (350 meters before we leave the bike path ) --- then we turnaround and head south on the bike path
----- leave the bike path up to Ann St, south on Talbot, East on John St to Finish line by Barking Frog. We will wait for a minute , gather up and return same way back to Gibbons.

I almost forgot! My skirts came this day for the Glass Slipper Challenge from Team Sparkle!
Love them!  I am going to wear the pink one for the Enchanted 10K and the blue one for the Princess Half Marathon!  Now I just need to find a blue tshirt to match!

Week in Review

On Monday I made it to the gym during my lunch hour.  Since I went during lunch, I didn't go after work.
I wasn't feeling the greatest on Tuesday, so I decided to skip my run.  On Wednesday I ran 6.7K in 50mins.
On Thursday I ran 8.67K in 1hour and 6mins with the running group.  On Saturday I ran 5.29K in 42mins.  I got up late so it was a pretty warm run when I finally got out at noon.
On Sunday I ran 13.82K in 1hour and 50mins running group.  After the run was complete I was very happy that John makes us get up for a 7am run in the heat of summer.  The next week is calling for 30 degree Celsius all week, but feeling like 40.  Hopefully it cools down by Friday Night in time for the Barking Frog Summer Night 5K.
Here is my schedule for this upcoming week:
Monday: Cross Train
Tuesday: 7K Run
Wednesday: Off
Thursday: 5K Run
Friday: Barking Frog Summer Night 5K
Saturday: 5K Run
Sunday: 16K Run

Week in Review!

On Monday, Canada Day, I went to the gym and worked on my arms.  We went to see fire works at the Forks that night.
On Tuesday I ran 6.54K in 52mins.  On Wednesday I was not feeling the greatest so I decided to skip my run.
On Thursday we completed a different work out then usual with the running group.
This is the famous elastic band run where I put you with a partner ---- you run in opposite directions of a circle and meet half way
Directions
No watches or GPS
...
Run at whatever speed you want, but be consistent with your pace
Once you tag your partner, turn and return along the same route you just took.

The goal is for you and your partner to arrive back at the start at the same time.
Because of the nature of this workout I only ended up running 3.68K in 24mins.  I was worried about completing this workout as I was worried I was going to hold my partner back.  We ended up being the first team back and we were 21seconds apart, which was not bad.
On Friday I ran 5.86K in 46mins.
On Saturday my husband and I went to a Blue Jays Game.
Views from our seats!

I had asked Steven to get seats by third base as I love Brett Lawrie but he is injured right now. :(

CN Tower
It was a nice day for a ball game.  Unfortunately they lost.
Today I ran 12.32K in 1hour and 40mins with the running group.  It was really hot this morning.  I was hoping for rain the whole time, but no luck!
This is my schedule for next week:
Monday: Cross Train
Tuesday: 7K Run
Wednesday: 5K Run
Thursday: 8K Run
Friday: Rest Day
Saturday: 5K Run
Sunday: 13K Run
