5.69K Run
Tonight I ran 5.69K in 47mins. On my way out I had to stop off at a friend's to let their dog out. It was a nice night for a run as it was a bit cooler then it has been recently.

5.3K Run
Tonight I ran 5.3K in 45mins. This is slower then my run on Saturday. My shins where bothering me a bit so I am sitting here with some frozen french fries on my shins. Last night I bought a pair of Diadora Capris and I wore them on my run tonight. Not bad for $39.99. I would definitely consider buying another pair.

Dairy Capital 10K Run
Today I ran the Dairy Capital 10K Run in Woodstock.
I am not very happy with my time of 1:19:09. This is my worst 10K time yet. The hills and humidity really got to me. Next year a may opt to only do the 5K.

5.29K Run
Today I ran 5.29K in 43mins. It was a very hot run. I am a little worried about tomorrow Dairy Capital 10K race as it is suppose to be even hotter! Any tricks for running in the heat? I ran last summer, but I don't remember it being this hot!
Today I also signed up for the Go the Distance 8K run in June.

Happy Victoria Day!
Today I made it to the gym again! I completed 1/2 an hour on the elliptical. The gym was really hot for some reason. Today is Victoria Day here in Canada, so I am off work. It has been a very warm long week hitting 30 degree Celsius the last two days.

13.47K Run
This morning I headed to work with my husband, who works across town, and then I ran back. I decided to do this as it has been pretty hot here the last couple days and didn't want to get heat stroke by running later in the day. On my run I saw a couple deer
and some baby Canada Geese.
I was disappointed that there was only one sprinkler on my run and I had to cross the street to run through it.
This is my schedule for next week:

6.04K Pack Run
Today I ran 6.04K in 48mins with the Saturday morning Pack Run. Today's Pack Run was raising money for Run4Change. It was a pretty warm morning out. I am glad I got the run out of the way early on. It got me thinking that I should get my 14K run out of the way early tomorrow as well. I have decided to head to work with my husband in the morning and run home as he works in the other end of the city. I have mapped it out and I think it is going to be pretty close to a 14K route.

10.23K Run
Tonight I ran 10.23K in 1hour and 27mins. The run didn't start off very well as my iPod decided to die completely and lost all my music. I had to swap it with another iPod we have filled with WDW Today podcasts. While I quite enjoy the podcast I found listing to them instead of music while running really slowed me down.

Cross Train
Today I went to the gym for the first time since March. I did 1/2 an hour on the elliptical. Today was the first time I felt I could breathe long enough without having a coughing fit in a week. Oh and did I mention that I had jury duty today and was not picked! I have been worried for a month that I was going to get picked to serve on a jury for a trial. This is my schedule for this week:
Monday: Cross Train
Tuesday: 7K Run
Wednesday: Rest Day
Thursday: 10K Run with the Running Group
Friday: Rest Day
Saturday: 6K Pack Run
Sunday: 14K Run with the Running Group or on my own

Westin St John USVI - Trip Report (Day 4) April 29th 2012
Today we head home which means a whole day of traveling. We slept in a little and headed to breakfast after packing up our things. Our water taxis picked us up at 11:30am for St Thomas.
This ride was a lot smoother then the ride to the St John. By the time we cleared customs and security we did not have much time to wait at all. Off to Philadelphia we went and then on to Toronto. We arrived home in London around 1am.

Westin St John USVI - Trip Report (Day 3) April 28th 2012
Today was the last full day on the island. It is also Steven's birthday! We started the day with breakfast and then we headed into town, Cruz Bay, to do some shopping. While we were there we found a hiking trail which took us to a nice look out over Cruz Bay.
We checked out the shops at Mongoose Junction and then headed back to the resort.
We then hit up the beach and I went for another float in the ocean while Steven read. We had lunch and again jumped in the pool.
We relaxed in out room for a bit before we got ready for the Gala dinner that was planned for the evening.

Westin St John USVI -Trip Report (Day 2) April 27th 2012
Today we started off with breakfast with the group as well as a short meeting. Then the rest of the day was to ourselves. We started the day at the beach where I signed out a floated and floated on the waves while Steven read on the beach.
We then had a bite to eat and headed to the pool. Yes we jumped in the pool right after eating. In the afternoon we had a scheduled poolside massage and then headed back to the room to get ready for our group dinner.
We went to Asolare on the island which was very nice. We finished dinner pretty late and was ready for bed when we returned to the resort.

Westin ST John USVI - Trip Report (Day 1) April 26th 2012
Today we set off for our trip to St John USVI which I was nominated from work to attend. We drove to Toronto from London. From there we flew from Toronto to Philadelphia and Philadelphia to St Thomas USVI.
From St Thomas we took a water taxis over to St John. It was a pretty fast and bumpy ride going over. Some of our group got quite wet on the ride.
We arrived in St John shortly after 3pm, where we were greeted with a drink waiting for us at check in!
From there we checked out our room, freshened up, explored the rest of the Westin Resort and attended the reception dinner for our group event.
